Today, I’m going to introduce the 90-degree Afro Perm, which is done on short hair.
This Perm is a winding method developed for short hair, and using a regular perm
solution can cause a lot of damage to the scalp and hair.

90-degree Afro Perm Tutorial

1. Sectioning:
   ■ Depending on the amount of hair, divide it into appropriate sections and evenly apply SHIT 1 from just before the scalp.
2. Winding:
   ■ Wrap the perm rod around the divided section and wind it tightly from the end of the perm rods to the scalp.Then, bend the top part of the wire rods to secure it.
   ■ The important point here is that the closer the angle between the hair and the wire rods is to 90 degrees, the stronger the curl will be.
3. Heat Treatment:
   ■ If you cannot use a heat treatment machine, use a hairdryer to evenly apply heat. After the heat treatment is finished, unwind the last winding to test if the curl has come out strong.
4. Neutralization:
   ■ Apply SHIT 2 thoroughly to the hair using and wait for 10 minutes, Then, remove the wire rod.
5. Shampoo:

How to styling for Duke Hairstyle

To create a Duke Hairstyle, you need to start with a 90-degree Afro Perm. Comb your Afro Hair thoroughly while it’s wet. If you have an Afro comb, use it to maximize volume.
After drying your hair thoroughly, use a twist sponge to twist your hair, creating several horn shapes.
If you want these shapes to last longer, you can lightly apply hair wax before twisting or use hairspray.

1. Combing:
   ■ Comb your hair once a week when it’s soaked in conditioner to untangle knots.
