This article includes information about the products needed and how to create the Interlock Dreads hairstyle. Interlock Dreads hairstyle can be more strikingly expressed when styled with short hair.
What is Interlock Dreads
Interlock Dreads use a hook to guide the dreads strands in the desired direction. Long hair is convenient to sweep back, but short hair can be difficult to sweep back without interlocking. Not only can Interlock Dreads guide the strands in the desired direction, but they also help to secure the hair more firmly by twisting it into the interior of the dreads.

Points to note for Interlock Dreads
Interlock Dreadlocks involve pushing the dreads strand into the space near the root using a hook. When your hair grows and needs maintenance, you should leave enough space for the dreads strand to enter during the maintenance. If you create a dreads strand too close to the scalp during maintenance, it can pull on the scalp and cause pain. Be mindful of this when maintaining your dreads!!
Finally
The Interlock Dreadlocks hairstyle is similar to the slick back hairstyle you might find in a barbershop. If you’re interested in short length dreads, give Interlock Dreads try!!
