Dreads Perm Tutorial
Once you have the Buddha Black Afro Perm Kit, you’re ready to do the Dreads Perm.
- Sectioning
■ Start winding from the right to the left, bottom to top. Start by dividing the section in a square shape from the right side of the back of the neck. The size of the section can be adjusted depending on the length and amount of hair.
– - Apply SHIT 1
■ Apply the Perm Solution “SHIT 1” included in the Buddha Black Afro Perm Kit. SHIT 1 is a product developed by Hippie Buddha and includes natural ingredients to prevent scalp trouble and hair damage.
– - Winding
■ To prevent stray hair from sticking out, add a Perm Paper to the end of the hair and wind it so that the angle between the rod and the hair is 45 degrees. Make sure to overlap a little while winding so that no gaps are visible, which will create a perfect pipe shape.
– - Heat treatment
■ If you don’t have a heat treatment machine, you can use a hairdryer or hot towel. After the heat treatment, unwind the last section to test it.
– - Rinse
■ Rinse thoroughly to remove any remaining chemicals in the hair.
